In addition to NO communication since early May 2015, Jen Hintz, the creator of the FibroFibers campaign, has absconded with the over $26,000 raised for her indie yarn-dyeing business. It’s been insinuated that a large portion of the monies were used as moving expenses from NC to MA instead of fulfilling the promised rewards and instead of using the money for which it was intended. Communication to Kickstarter and Amazon Payments has yielded no help or accountability whatsoever. Jen Hintz has ceased updating her backers on delivery of the missing rewards, as well as maintaining a social media silence. Fraud charges are currently being filed with the Attorney General’s Office, as well as the FTC.
