Hey Kickscammed Reporters, we have a guest post today from a postgraduate student working a dissertation about crowdfunding. Please fill out the survey linked here and share with other backers. This could be a great opportunity for exposure.
“Hello, my name is Dami and I am a postgraduate student at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom currently working on a dissertation about crowdfunding. The focus is on the issue surrounding project delivery delay/failure which has probably become an area of concern for many of you. I will be looking at the impact of this issue on both backers and project creators.
Asides comments on blogs/websites, there is little or no research yet on how these delays affect people who fund projects or what impact it has on their funding behavior. This survey focuses on the backer side of the issue. So if you have ever backed a project on Kickstarter, Indiegogo or any similar platform where you expected to receive a reward(whether it was delayed or not), then you are invited to take part in my short survey- https://www.esurveycreator.com/s/c0c66f7
For Project creators
My study also aims to find out the impact of handling rewards delivery on project creators, their resources and business. Hence, I am looking to interview any project creator who :
has launched a project on a rewards-based crowdfunding platform.
successfully reached or passed his/her funding goal.
had to deliver rewards that included end products of the project.
If you are interested, please send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org and include the link to your project.
I am really grateful to the Kickscammed team for agreeing to put this up and I hope that the findings of my study will be beneficial to crowdfunding companies, backers and future project creators.”
